Wuxi San Antonio Sister City Signing Part 1
On Feb. 16, 2012, the City of San Antonio entered into a Sister City Agreement with Wuxi, China. Wuxi, known as "Little Shanghai" because of the pace and scale of its economic development, is a city with a history of more than 3000 years. San Antonio’s Sister City Agreement with Wuxi will encourage opportunities for mutually beneficial exchanges in the areas of arts and culture, tourism, business, investment, life science, education, conventional and renewable energy, civic affairs, information technology and healthcare, among others.
