Toxic Unsustainable Geothermal Plant in Hawaii is not the Green, Smart, or theSafe energy we need!

All along Kapoho Road to the four corners area. They presently are on 805 acres of land and have secured hundreds more below their present location. Without a recent Environmental Impact Study or a study to compare other more sustainable energy sources such as Solar, Wind, Hydro, Smart Grid or even just plain old conservation versus geothermal they are shoving this on us. We need to let them know we disagree and they need to listen. Just one fact. 37% of Hawaii electricity is used for electric water heaters. If we all used solar water heaters we just that easy have 37% less energy use. Duh. Stupid is, as stupid does. How about passing a law that disallowed incandescent lights from being imported to the Hawaiian Islands. Another no brainer. But instead we get more stupid. But not any more. This is 2012. Do your part. Occupy the Truth, Occupy Smart. Occupy Hilo County Council and all Hawaii Government officials who support the geothermal money men.
